    Split rail fencing

From the heart of Hancock County in
the great state of Maine, welcome to
    Appalachian Fence Company, a homestead-based
manufacturer of traditional split rail cedar fencing.

    Split rail fencing

I'm Skip Bunker, owner/operator of Appalachian Fence Company, a one-man operation located on my great-grandparents' farmstead in the village of Eastbrook, Maine (population, 300).
    Split rail fencing

All of my fence materials are crafted from
native white cedar, grown and harvested right
here, close to home. White cedar is naturally
insect and rot resistant, non-toxic and safe to
handle. It's perfectly suited to ground contact
applications without the use of chemicals,
    requires no weatherproofing or preservatives,
and weathers to a natural gray in about a year.

    Split rail fencing
    Available in 6', 8', 10' & 12' lengths
traditional split rail cedar fencing is adaptable
to virtually any terrain. This fence can be
installed with or without posts, in and amongst
a variety of landscapes and terrain; even on
    bare ledge.

    Thank you for your time.

          Sincerely,

          Skip Bunker
          Eastbrook, Maine
